Our Playground
Fish and Season
We fish the greater Ft Myers area including Sanibel, Catpiva all the way up to the famous Boca Grande Pass. Depending on your ambitions and weather conditions, we will make a strategy for the day. Our prime species include the “Silver King” Tarpon, Redfish, Snook and Sea Trout. All can be fished year-round, but best chances are to focus on prime seasons for the specific species to maximize your chances.
Tarpon
Tarpon might very well be the most famous sales water game fish in the world. Their size and fighting spirit motivates many sport anglers and catching one of these giants is a reward and life lasting memory.
We fish year round for residential Tarpon in the bay areas surrounding Sanibel, Captiva up to the Boca Grande Pass. Weather conditions need to be right, so we can sight fish for laid-up tarpon. When the seasonal migration starts around April, we see more and more fish on a daily basis. Tarpon season is in full swing from early May to late July. During this period, dates fill up very quickly, so book early in advance!
Tarpon fishing is not for the faint of hart. Weather conditions and the fish need to be cooperating to be successful in finding, hooking and landing these monster fish.

REDFISH
Redfish are great game fish for inshore fishing in the bay and mangrove area. The peak season for Redfish is during the fall in September and October, but they can be found year round. Redfish are less affected by weather conditions, and most influenced by tides.
Redfish are very hard fighters and fishing for them is fun on light tackle, fly rod and live bait.

SNOOK
The South West Florida area is famous for the large population of salt water Snook. Snook can be found all around the islands and bays and fished for in similar areas as the Redfish. Hooking up to a large Snook is going to be a spectacular experience, because the jump and make large runs before you can start reeling them in.
We fish for Snook during warmer weather, when water temperatures rise above 75 degrees. They search shelter in the mangroves during the colder weather and with the right tide, they can be found cruising the edges of the island. We fish the with light tackle, fly rod and live bait.

SEATROUT
The spotted seatrout can be fished all over the grassy inshore flats. We fish for seatrout all year round and the average size is well above 20 inch!
We fish the with light tackle, fly rod and live bait.
